Lifetime Warranty Terms and Conditions

At Monitor Dynamics (MDI), we are committed to providing our customers with products of the highest quality, and we stand by our commitment with this Lifetime Warranty. We understand the importance of reliable security solutions and are here to support you throughout the lifespan of your MDI products. To ensure that your warranty remains active and that your equipment performs optimally, please review the following terms and conditions carefully.

1. Active Service Agreement

To maintain eligibility for this Lifetime Warranty, the End User is required to hold an active Service Agreement with MDI. This ongoing service relationship allows us to ensure that your system receives the necessary updates and support, keeping it functioning at its best. Without an active Service Agreement, we cannot guarantee the full benefits of this warranty.

2. Certified Installation and Maintenance

For your protection and the longevity of your MDI products, it is essential that all installation and maintenance tasks are performed exclusively by certified MDI personnel. This ensures that the equipment is handled by trained professionals who understand the nuances of the system and are up-to-date with the latest standards. Only certified and current MDI personnel are authorized to work on the covered products under this warranty.

3. Exclusions for Acts of Nature

While we strive to support you in every way possible, this warranty does not cover damage resulting from unforeseen natural events. This includes, but is not limited to, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, floods, or other acts of nature. We sympathize with the challenges posed by such incidents and recommend that you explore additional insurance coverage for protection against these events, as they are beyond the scope of what our warranty can reasonably cover.

4. Not Considered an Advanced Replacement                                                                                       

Please note that our Lifetime Warranty does not qualify as an advanced replacement service. While we are committed to supporting our customers with high-quality products and exceptional service, any warranty claims, including those for controllers, will follow our standard Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) procedures and policies. We kindly ask for your understanding, as this process ensures that all returned products are thoroughly inspected, tested, and repaired or replaced according to our high standards. Our goal is to provide the most reliable solutions while maintaining fairness and consistency across all claims. 5. Product Scope                                                                                                                                                           

This Lifetime Warranty applies specifically to the UDC (Universal Door Controller) and SBC (Small Board Controller) products. Please note that no other products, accessories, or components are included in this coverage. Including but not limited to discontinued products. We designed this warranty to support these critical components in your system, and their ongoing protection depends on compliance with the terms outlined above.
